February 2026 – Electric Motion Unveils Its Vision of Electric EnduroIn 2009, when it was founded, Electric Motion became the first brand in the world to develop a 100% electric trials motorcycle.The choice of trials was no coincidence. As a historic, demanding and ultra-competitive discipline, it provided the ideal testing ground for an emerging technology. Section after section, competition after competition, electric powertrains were pushed to their limits: torque management, traction control, endurance and precision.15 years later, production EM models, equipped with a mechanical clutch and a 4-speed gearbox, compete at the highest level of the Trial2 World Championship. Configurable via the EM Connect app through numerous settings, they adapt to all types of terrain and every level of rider.
Over successive generations, the brand has developed proprietary technologies and continuously improved every parameter: weight, range, power, electronic management and control.This expertise has been further strengthened through the development of the Escape models and participation in the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup, the first international electric enduro competition.At the end of 2025, Yamaha Motor Corporation unveiled the YE-01 Racing Concept at the Milan show, co-developed with Electric Motion. This strategic collaboration enabled EM to explore new architectures, push boundaries and expand into new markets.February 2026 marks a new milestone: Electric Motion unveils its EP01 enduro prototype at the Salon du 2 Roues de Lyon.Its development follows the company’s founding principle:
Before being electric, an EM must first and foremost be a motorcycle.This means preserving the feel, dynamics and rider engagement. A particular attention has been given to chassis performance, suspensions and overall balance, to deliver the sensations expected from a true enduro machine.
Electric Motion is not approaching enduro as a new experimental playground, but as the natural evolution of its DNA.Where trials demand millimetric torque control at low speed, enduro requires endurance, smooth power delivery and intelligent power management.
